Meet our Trainers

Larry Burkhardt has been working in the masonry restoration and coatings industry for over 19 years. He is currently a sales and technical representative with CONPROCO where he works with specifiers and contractors to complete successful building repairs. His areas of expertise include masonry repair, masonry cleaning and masonry coatings. He has served on the board of the Baltimore Washington Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and is also a member of the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) and Sealant Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWRI). Larry began his career in restoration, working for Cathedral Stone Products. He has studied with experts in the masonry restoration field while travelling to France, Holland and Germany.   

 Shea McEnerney is the Preservation & Architectural Specialist with PROSOCO in Lawrence, KS. In his role, Shea serves as the technical resource as it relates to historic building materials, material degradation, and product performance. Shea additionally supports architectural training initiatives and represents PROSOCO at select trade shows, industry meetings, and technical associations.

Shea serves as an officer on the Association for Preservation Technology’s Central Plains Board of Directors as well as a committee member with the American Institute of Architects Kansas City Chapter. Professionally trained in Charleston, SC and Dublin, Ireland, Shea holds an M.S. in Historic Preservation from the Clemson University/College of Charleston Program. His thesis work documented patterns of architectural training, material usage, and stylistic influences in the late-colonial period throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

 Jeff Scarpelli is the product engineer for PROSOCO’s anchor systems group. He is a licensed professional architectural engineer in Illinois and previously worked as a building enclosure consultant for eight years with a focus on restoration and testing of masonry, natural stone, and their anchoring systems. In 2021, he started his role at PROSOCO, where he performs research and development into new anchoring systems as well as providing technical and engineering support on facade stabilization projects for both contractors and design professionals. He is an active member of The Masonry Society (TMS) and the Association for Preservation Technology (APT). 

Kirstin Davis has been involved in the masonry restoration industry for over 23 years. She is currently the National Director of Sales for CONPROCO. She and her staff work with restoration professionals to plan and execute successful building repair projects. Kirstin is well-versed in concrete repair, masonry repair and protective coatings for masonry building façades. She has been a trainer of concrete repair and masonry restoration processes and products for over 15 years. Kirstin is actively involved in trade organizations including the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) and Waterproofing Contractors Association (WCA). 

Al Morris is the National Sales Manager with PROSOCO, Inc. Morris has been involved in the cleaning, coating and restoration industry for the last 25 years. Morris specializes in cleaners and protective treatments for new and existing masonry construction. He has been an active member of Sealant Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWRI) since 1994, serving on the board as well as chairing several committees during this time. Morris is a Certified Consultant of Concrete Masonry (CCCM), a Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Construction Document Technologist (CDT), and a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) where he is a NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 3. 

 Aaron Wolk is the Midwest Technical Sales Representative with CONPROCO. Aaron is a second- generation mason, getting his start by spending summers working with his father in the trade. Aaron began his training in a high school trades program and continued by attaining his Journeyman papers with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers in 2001. In 2003, Aaron left the field and began working as a manufacturer's representative. With over 20 years of practical experience he continues to provide on-site consulting and hands-on training for masons and design professionals across the United States and Canada.  Projects of note include: Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA and the Naval Cemetery in Annapolis, MD. Aaron is an active member with International Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers (Local 9), Sealant Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWRI), and International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).
